School life is structured, supportive, and designed to provide balance between academic learning, personal development, and enrichment opportunities. Our timetable and classroom environment reflect our commitment to flexibility, wellbeing, and meaningful learning experiences.
The School Day
Classes run from 9:30am to 2:00pm, Monday through Thursday and from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Fridays
This helps provide a focused learning day while maintaining a healthy balance for students.
From Monday to Thursday, Periods 1 and 2 are dedicated to Maths and English, ensuring strong foundations in essential core subjects.
Periods 3 and 4 focus on PHSE, careers education, and vocational studies, supporting students in developing life skills, employability awareness, and future pathways.
Fridays at School
Fridays offer a varied and engaging programme centred around sports, mentoring, and media activities. These sessions give students the opportunity to develop creativity, teamwork, confidence, and communication skills in a more relaxed and practical learning environment.
Small Group Learning
Class sizes are kept small, with 7–8 students per group, allowing for personalised teaching, stronger relationships, and tailored support. This approach helps students feel heard, supported, and confident to engage fully with their learning.”
Lunch Provision
Lunch is provided daily, with meals carefully planned to meet a range of personal and dietary requests (if applicable). We believe that nutrition plays a vital role in learning, wellbeing, and overall school experience.
