The London Rangers FC had a tough start into the 2017/18 season of the Hellenic League Two East. Following a defeat on the opening matchday, the team lost against the Penn & Tylers Green Reserves in an unlucky way. The next chance for the first points of the season is the home game against Stokenchurch.
The Pavilion. The match taking place at the Pavilion will be the starting shot of the new season for Stokenchurch, who presented themselves in a good form while preseason. They won both of their latest friendlies: After a 4:1 home win against FC Leisure, they reached a 1:0 away win against Downley FC.
They ended up on the 9th place after the end of the 2016/17 campaign, getting 23 points from 22 games (7 wins, 2 draws, 13 losses).
Long runner of the season was David Fisher with 26 appearances while Steven Park was the highest goalscorer with 18 goals followed by Ashley Hunt with 10 goals. Stokenchurch plays their 4th running season in the Hellenic League.
