Volunteer Dietitian

Volunteer role
Travel expenses paid
Free lunch
All equipment provided

We are a football club and education centre. We have 5 junior teams, a men’s first team and various study programmes for 14-24 year olds, including a Coaching Traineeship and Football Scholarship. We serve some of the most disadvantaged communities in London. We receive no government funding.

We are looking for a volunteer to work 1 day a week (Thursday or Friday) providing dietary advice and guidance to the young people on our 16-18 Football Scholarship programme. The role would include leading information sessions, helping young people to write diet plans and giving 1:1 support and advice when needed.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a first degree or postgraduate qualification in dietetics and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We will also consider candidates with a health science-based first degree who are working towards a postgraduate qualification in dietetics. This role would suit a recently-qualified dietitian looking for more experience to support their paid job applications, or a more experienced professional who is employed part-time or on a career break, and would enjoy volunteering at a football club.
