Visiting undefeated league-giants

After another bitter 1:2 away-loss against Stokenchurch the London Rangers will face Abingdon Town on Saturday. The opponent, currently on the 3rd spot in the Hellenic League, won every of their 3 matches up to now.
Culham Road. After a successful 3:2 opening-win at home against Abingdon United, they hammered Aston Clinton on the following matchday 10:0 where their top-scorer Carl Bloomfield scored a hattrick. He has 4 goals out of 3 games yet, closely followed by Craig Bloomfield and Joe Cook with 3 goals each. The “Abbots” recently won 4:1 at home against the Chinnor Reserves. After an inactive 2016/17 season they joined the Hellenic League Two East this year. One of their last achievements was the win of the Hellenic League Premier Division in 1987 and the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup in 1993 as well as the fifth round in the FA Vase Cup in 1990.
With 3 wins out of 3 games the team of manager Gavin Jones probably wants to tie on the recent performances and fight for the top spot of the table.
The games takes place  of Abingdon Town Culham Road.

Kick-off is on Saturday at 3pm.
