After another disappointing away-loss against Thame Rangers (1:3) the London Rangers FC will face the current Hellenic-League-Leader Virginia Water Reserves. The opponnent already celebrated two wins and scored ten goals in the current season.
The Pavilion. The new arrival of the Hellenic League (coming from Surrey Elite League) played four games from which they generated seven points (2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss). After a devastating 0:5 away loss against Chalvey Sports they lately hammered the Chinnor Reserves 4:1 at home, goalscorer Sam Dennison was voted as the man of the match. As well as Sam Devoil he already scored two goals during the season. The other matches were against Chalfont Wasps Reserves (3:3 at home) and Aston Clinton (3:2 at home). They had a half-time lead at every win and draw but are without a clean sheet yet.
To cap it all they have to do without on Josh Guichard (4 games, 4 goals) who is suspended.
Team manager Rob Lamb can resort to Alex Saunders who is back from injury and made his comeback in the last game against Chinnor Reserves.
“He worked hard and his strength, power and pace put Waters 1-0 up at half time”, Lamb said about his player.
It will be exciting to see how the London Rangers will deal with the team of captain Luke Spelling.
